Boys Head Coach
Doug Mason Coach Mason is a Seneca East graduate and former cross country runner. Coach Mason brings to the cross country program over fifteen years of coaching experience. When he took over the boys program in 2005, he inherited a team that had just five runners the previous season. Today, the boys cross country teams boasts over 25 runners in grades 7-12. Coach Mason has led the Tigers to multiple league and district championships, a regional championship, three top 5 state finishes, including the state championship in 2012. Coach Mason also serves as the Ahletic Director, boys JV basketball coach, and boys junior high track coach at Seneca East.

Girls Head Coach
Matt Schock Coach Schock is a Seneca East graduate and former cross country runner. Coach Schock brings to the cross country program over ten years of coaching experience including assisting the boys program to the state championship in 2012. Coach Schock became the girls' head coach in 2014. During his first eight seasons as coach, participation increased from only 5 runners in grades 7-12 to over 20 runners last year. Under his guidance, the girls have won two league championships, been a District Runner-up, and qualified for the regional meet five times. Coach Schock also coaches high school track and is the Preschool Director at Seneca East.

Mike Farrell Coach Farrell is a Seneca East graduate and former cross country runner himself. Coach Farrell has assisted with the cross country program for over fifteen years, including assisting the boys to three top 5 state finishes, including the 2012 state championship season. Coach Farrell works as a civil engineer at the county engineer's office, and he volunteers his time and talents to the Seneca East Cross Country Program.

Niki Schiefer Coach Schiefer is a Seneca East graduate and former cross country runner herself. Coach Schiefer was a member of the 1998 SECC Girls State Championship team. Coach Schiefer has assisted the program for over five years and brings a passion of running and care for her athletes to the sport. Coach Schiefer is also an assistant girls track coach, and works at Seneca East as a third grade teacher.

Lauren Vannest Coach Vannest is a Bellevue High School graduate and former cross country runner herself. Coach Vannest competed at the state meet for Bellevue multiple times in her career. Coach Vannest has assisted the program for two years and brings views from another school to our program. Coach Vannest is also an assistant girls track coach, and works at Seneca East as a high school science teacher.
